Can I pay with points & receive points?

Yes, but only when the deal is BUY x Get x,000 points.

For example, if the deal is “Buy 3 Get 5,000 points” you CAN pay with points and earn points back. If the deal is “SPEND x Get x,000 points” you CANNOT pay with points and earn points back. For example, if the deal is Spend $20 Get 5,000 you cannot pay with points.

So remember:

BUY = pay with points earn points

SPEND = do NOT pay with points because you will not earn points

2. Can I use manufacturer coupons AND digital coupons on the same item?

No, digital coupons on the Walgreens app are manufacturer coupons they are just on the app that you can clip to your Walgreens account. This is a PLUS because if you don’t get a coupon in your inserts you can look on the app and the coupon is available to clip to your account.

3. How many times can I use the digital coupons?

Once, the digital coupons are a one and done type deal. Once you use it that is it. They typically reset & once they do you can clip them again to your Walgreens

account.

4. How many items will the digital coupons work for?

Only one. For example, if there is a digital coupon for $1.00 off Colgate toothpaste, and you purchase 2, the digital coupon will only apply to one of them. You would need to have a second coupon from the inserts or coupons.com to apply to the second toothpaste.

5. Can I use coupons from coupons.com?

Yes, if your store allows you to use internet printable coupons.

6. Do I have to print in color or can the coupons from coupons.com be black & white?

No, they do not have to be in color. You may print in either or.

7. Do Balance Points Expire?

Yes, Your points expire 3 years after they are earned or if an account has been inactive for 6 months. (from Walgreens.com)

8. How many points can I redeem at once in a transaction?

1,000 points = $1.00
2,000 points = $2.00
3,000 points = $3.00
5,000 points = $5.00
10,000 points = $10.00
18,000 points = $20.00

9. If I earn points & then return an item will that affect my points?

Yes, it will. You will see the change in points on your receipt.

10. What is the beauty program?

The beauty program allows you to earn additional points when you spend $50 on participating products. You must sign up through the program online, once you have your Walgreens account the Beauty Enthusiast program is online as well and you click to join. It will track your beauty spending. Once you spend $50 you earn 5,000 points. This can be done multiple times and there is no limit. It also tracks on your receipt.

11. How do my digital coupons come off?

Once you are ready to check out and you type in your phone number your digital coupons will apply once the cashier rings up everything. The cashier cannot see what digital coupons you have, they will automatically come off & show on your receipt.

12. What happens if my digital coupon does not come off and my coupon matches the item?

Contact Walgreens customers service 1-800-925-4733. They will give the points in the amount of the coupon. For instance, if your $2 off coupon did not apply they will give you 2,000 points and add it to your account right away.

13. Can I use the store IVC book coupons with manufactuer coupons?

Yes, the IVC Book (located in the front of the store by the store ad) is a book of coupons. These coupons are Walgreens store coupons and you can stack them with manufacturer coupons.

14. How many times can I use the store IVC book coupons?

The coupon will apply to 4 items. So for instance the coupon is $2 off 1 Loreal Shampoo, you can purchase up to 4 in one transaction, the cashier will scan the coupon from the book and it will apply to all 4 of L'oreal.

15. Do I have to tear off the coupon from the IVC booklet and give it to the cashier?
