Marriage (relationships) can be hard work, but it's also something you work hard at to make it everything that you want it to be. After being married for 12+ years and knowing someone for over 20 years (our relationship started in high school) you learn so much about one another & realize this is my soulmate, this is who God chose for me (THANK YOU). When you love as hard as we do nothing seems impossible when it comes to us. You have to be kind, you have to listen, you have to communicate, you have to be patient, you have to be understanding, you have to be supportive, you have to be open minded, you have to be loyal, you have to be IN love (oh yes we are) and most importantly what I feel you have to do is you have to trust. When you trust someone completely you will have no problem with everything else. Of course these are my thoughts & what I feel, but when you have no doubts about anything, you feel safe & secure and he makes me feel that each and every day.
When I wake up every morning I am blessed to wake up next to the love of my life, my soulmate, he is my everything. He makes me laugh constantly (I'm sure you all know that already) he is my number one supporter and when he isn't next to me I miss him. When I'm at work he gives me butterflies (I'm not kidding) when I'm thinking of him and then I grab my phone to send him an "I Love You" text. I don't need to hear is voice throughout the day (crazy right) because I love to miss him. Don't get me wrong of course if I talk to him I'm happy but I'm not sad if I don't talk to him during the day while we are both at work. This just makes me miss him even more. I may call him on my way home & sometimes not but one thing is for sure, you can bet money on when I hear his key unlocking the door when he gets home from work, I run and jump on him as if I were a baby. That hug he gives me makes up for not talking to him the entire day. I know it sounds crazy & maybe even unreal but this is my truth about love & happiness and that's how it's so easy for me. He has a smile that lights up my world and as I type this now guess what? Yep I'm smiling because it makes my heart happy to have the love I have. I actually have tears in my eyes because I know how lucky I am, and I never take it for granted.
Some people will live their entire life and maybe not find true love or know what it feels like but I do. I know a lot of people are so fortunate to have love like this and be happy and they truly know where I am coming from...So if you haven't found it yet, be patient because when you do find it and it feels like this, you will know exactly how I felt writing this. I hope this helps anyone who asked "What's your secret to being so happy?" understand my reason I smile so much & love so hard. To make it simple, when you know you just know & he is what I know, he is my love.

A true and honest love...Real Love, that's what I honestly think this whole ride we call life is really about. Not about the cars we drive, the house you own or what's in your bank account, it's about experiencing this whole thing with someone you love unconditionally.
